CNH 101 Biblical Nutrition....................................32 hours

This course goes back to the very beginning of life found in Genesis 1:7, where we read, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breath into his nostrils the breath of LIFE; and man become a living soul.” God also prescribed the proper nutrition that would sustain life in the human body.

 

CNH 102 Cleansing and Detoxification….................32 hours

This course is designed to teach the student the first defense on any type of disease, that is, to cleanse the body system of toxins.

 

CNH 103 Counsels on Diet and Foods.....................32 hours

This course will show the student the close relationship between diet and health. This was first used as a college textbook for students of dietetics at the College of Medical Evangelist, now the famed Loma Linda University.

 

CNH 104 Hydrotherapy Theory and Technique........32 hours

Hydrotherapy Theory and Technique provides a solid principle in the external and internal application of water. There is a brief discussion of pertinent anatomical and physiological data. Numerous therapeutic and spa techniques are described in detail, as well as guidelines for their use.

 

CNH 105 Starting and Managing an Alt. Practice......32 hours

This course will teach you how to set up your own natural health practice legally anywhere in the world. It deals with building your reputation and client base, record keeping, publicity and advertising, confidentiality and professionalism, etc.

 

CNH 106 Colon Hydrotherapy......................................................48 hours

This course will provide the student a comprehensive course in colon hydrotherapy procedure. It covers the anatomy and physiology of the digestive system, indications and contraindication for colon hydrotherapy.

 

CNH 107 Sanitation and Safety..............................32 hours

It covers safety and hygienic standards, emergency procedures during colon hydrotherapy, and equipment sanitation procedures.

 

CNH 201 Anatomy and Physiology - Intermediate....48 hours

This course will provide the student with the general ability to identify the major organ systems as well as the parts and functions of the human body, stressing the function and interrelationships between organs, tissues and glands. This will prepare the student with a foundational knowledge to better understand both the structure and function of the body.

 

CNH 216 Ministry of Healing.................................32 hours

This course will show the student the eight laws of health which governs our body system. It was written by Ellen G. White, one of America’s most prolific female writer. The natural principles of health she used in this book is of divine origin.

 

CNH 300 The Hist. & Foundation of Naturopathy ....48 hours This course will be of interest to all who wish to learn about the historical roots of naturopathy, the writings of its founders on a variety of natural therapies and modalities, as well as, the modern applications and validations of naturopathic techniques. It includes works by J. H. Kellogg, M. V. Kulkarni, Royal Lee, G. J.  Drews, . H. Tilden and other early naturopathic pioneers.

 

CNH 301 Principles and Practice of Naturopathy.....32 hours

This course provides knowledge in the pioneering work of naturopathy. It talks about the various natural modalities in the prevention of disease like the use of water, pure air, sunlight, exercise, nutrition, proper rest, temperance, and trust in God. It uses the healing power of nature, “vis medicatrix naturae.”

 

CNH 305 Medical Terminologies.........................................................32 hours

This course is designed to provide the student with a clear understanding of the vocabulary associated with human anatomy and physiology. The use of prefixes, suffixes, word roots, and word forms that are the building blocks for many of the terms used in the health field is highly emphasized.

 

CNH 307 Medical Jurisprudence............................32 hours

This course outlines the legal responsibilities and restrictions the student must be aware of in order to protect them, and act legally in the natural health field. The student will learn how to use proper terminology in communicating and interacting with other health professionals and how to educate others in the natural health field.

 

CNH 325 Kinesiology.........................................................48 hours

This course studies the use of kinesiology to analyze human metabolic problems and allergies. Kinesiological studies may be used to produce a nutritional regimen through which the application of diet, homeopathic remedies, herbs, vitamins and minerals may be helpful. The student will learn the application and location of test points on the body and the proper testing techniques for each point

 

CNH 330 The Art of Massage.................................32 hours

On this course the student will be able to know the physiological effects of massage as advanced by the famed Dr. John Harvey Kellogg of Battle Creek Sanitarium. Also, the procedures and therapeutic applications of massage to various ailments and disorders in the muscles, circulation, respiratory, digestion and the elimination system will be discussed.

 

CNH 335 Advanced Anatomy and Physiology...........80 hours

The study of human structure and function is presented in a systematic fashion. Emphasize is given to the study of nervous system, skeletal, muscular, circulatory and respiratory systems, basic chemistry, cell biology and metabolism.

 

CNH 360 Herbal Materia Medica............................64 hours

This course focuses on the difference between drug and herbal therapy, the use of nutrients in the treatment of disease and the biochemical effects of herbs in the body. It includes a comprehensive description of an exhaustive list of herbs, their application and therapeutic effects.

 

CNH 365 Herbal Medicine............................................................48 hours

This course focuses on the identification of each herb, along with how and when to best collect the herb. It also discusses the medicinal uses of various herbal preparations. Emphasis is given to herbal teas, effusions, decoction and extraction procedures, preparation of tinctures, and poultices.

 

CNH 370 Accupressure Technique..........................32 hours

The student will learn the location of points, direction and amount of finger pressure and how the stimulation of each point effect the function of a particular organ, based on the ancient Chinese “meridian energy” theory. Application of deep finger pressure over acupuncture points on the body for the treatment and relief of chronic painful conditions is also studied.

 

CNH 380 Bach Flower Remedies............................48 hours

This course covers the comprehensive work of Edward Bach, M.D.,  on flower remedies. His noninvasive approach, discovered in the 20th century, has won acclaim from the masses and is used around the world. He believed that the body would respond to healing by correcting the emotion component of disease through flower scent.  

 

CNH 390 Naturopathic Psychology.........................32 hours

This course explores the theory of psycho-immunology which deals with the mystery of the mind and its impact on healing the body. It challenges the student to consider the spiritual element of proper mental health and show how what we think and believe can determine our physical well being.

 

CNH 395 Enzymatic Nutritional Therapy.................48 hours

This course reveals the role of enzymes in the body’s attempt to process food to be assimilable material— useable for the maintenance and upkeep of life.. Enzymes provide for digestion, assimilation, and act as scavengers, cleansing dead cells from the body. Enzymes have an important role keeping the body healthy.

 

CNH 401 Naturopathic Health Assessments.............64 hours

This course is a study of the work of Dr. Carey Reams and is designed to help the students understand acid and alkaline balancing. Students will learn the significance of pH values from urine and saliva. Using this information they will learn to match food and supplements to an individual’s numbers.

 

CNH 415 Orthomolecular Nutrition........................48 hours

The orthomolecular nutrition is based on diets and food supplements of essential vitamins and minerals. It deals with specifically selecting the food supplement to solve individual problems and needs. Course topics include the dangers of conventional diets and treatments, optimal diets and anti-stress supplementation. The overall goal is to promote optimal health and longevity for the individual.

 

CNH 456 Alternative Cancer Therapies...................32 hours

This course is designed to explore anecdotal evidences concerning the use of various alternative cancer therapies which are not used by the orthodox medical community and yet demonstrate an effective alternative for treating various anatomical and metabolic disorders.

 

CNH 467 Advance Aromatheraphy..........................48 hours

This course deals with the history and effectiveness of aromatherapy (essential oils). The use of oils used in ministering to emotional and physical conditions is given careful emphasis
