Admission Requirement
Corinthian Naturopathic College offers maximum flexibility and freedom to its student in their course work. Prospective students are admitted to the program, not on the basis of past academic achievement, but on the basis of maturity, motivation and willingness to learn through a self-paced regimen, while continuing on your job or other endeavors. However, to be admitted in the Doctor of Naturopathy program, one must possess a Bachelor's degree.
Nevertheless, because of the non-traditional nature of the course, Corinthian Naturopathic College is not for everyone. Students who are less experienced and less motivated may need the standardized instruction, the classroom approach on a traditional campus environment.
Our program is designed to give candidate the maximum flexibility of study in their own time. Students are sent list of examination questions. The coursework consist of researching from the textbook to answer exam questions designed to dwell on the important issues on the subject. The student will then mail the answers back to the school or send it through e-mail.
The student has to obtain a correct score of at least 85% before a credit is given for the course of study. No final examination is given. Coursework is intense. Therefore, no final test is necessary. Textbooks are shipped along with the course assignments. Students may begin studies the first day they receive shipment. Students do not need to order large expensive textbooks with their own money. If students experience difficulties in their studies, they may email their professor.
The academic year is highly flexible. You may enroll at any time, work at your own pace, and take as long as you need to complete the course work. You will graduate when you have fulfilled all your academic and financial requirements. If you wish to graduate on a particular date, these obligations must first be settled prior to that date. Within six weeks or less after graduation, you will receive your diploma bearing the appropriate degree you have earned.
The student should be able to complete most subjects in one month, with 6-8 hours study devoted each week. There is no time limit for the completion of the course. However, the candidate who does not complete the program within two years must reapply for readmission and pay an administrative fee of $200.00 for another two years extension of time.
The school is not designed to provide a vocational curriculum to meet the requirements of any particular State where license is required. Please contact your local or state regulatory agencies and learn of its requirements so you will not be in violation of any laws. The school does not seek any academic accreditation with any federal and state accrediting agency at the present time or in the future. However, we are accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Log on to www.aadp.net and check us on their school listings.
We do not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, creed, or national origin, and seek to conform to all governmental, state and federal laws concerning equal opportunity.
